Overview

Voysing is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our vocal training platform.

Data Collection

Demo Mode (No Account)

All data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage
No personal information is collected or transmitted
Your microphone audio is processed in real-time and never recorded or stored
Progress data, settings, and achievements remain on your device only

With Supabase Authentication (Optional)

Email address (for account creation)
Progress data and exercise history (synced to cloud)
User preferences and settings
Optional: Voice recordings (only if you explicitly save them)

Microphone Access

Voysing requires microphone access to analyze your voice during exercises.

Audio is processed in real-time using Web Audio API
No audio is recorded unless you explicitly use the "Save Recording" feature
You can revoke microphone access at any time through your browser settings
We never access your microphone without your explicit permission

Data Storage

Local Storage: Exercise history, settings, achievements, and progress are stored in your browser's localStorage in demo mode.

Cloud Storage: If you configure Supabase authentication, data is encrypted and stored securely in Supabase's infrastructure.

Voice Recordings: Only saved if you use the optional recording feature. You control when recordings are saved and can delete them at any time.

Third-Party Services

Voysing may use the following optional third-party services:

Supabase: For optional authentication and cloud data storage
Vercel: For hosting and analytics (if deployed on Vercel)

In demo mode, no third-party services are used.

Cookies

Voysing uses minimal cookies for essential functionality only (session management if using authentication). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data at any time
Export your progress data using the built-in export feature
Delete your account and all associated data
Revoke microphone access
Use the app without creating an account (demo mode)

Children's Privacy

Voysing is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
